Some elements never go out of fashion, the traditional and
elegant Chikankari embroidery work is one of them. The word “Chikankari,” often
shortened to Chikan, is an elegant style of hand embroidery. It developed
quickly during the period when the Mughals ruled India and consisted of styles inspired by the Persians. Lucknow grew into an international market for its
